Lance Hosey, FAIA, LEED Fellow is an accomplished architect, designer, and author with a deep passion for sustainable design innovations. He studied at both Yale University's School of Architecture and Columbia University's College of Architecture, Art, and Planning.

Over the course of his career, Hosey has held many leadership roles and has been a voice for sustainability and design innovation. He served as the Chief Sustainability Officer and Senior Vice President at RTKL and as the Director at William McDonough + Partners, among others. He presently presides as the Chief Sustainability Officer, Principal, and Board Director at Perkins Eastman.

Hosey is the author of the award-winning book, 'The Shape of Green: Aesthetics, Ecology, and Design,' the first book to examine the relationship between sustainability and beauty. He has delivered talks at TED and served on the USGBC's LEED Advisory Committee and AIA's national Advisory Group for the Committee on the Environment.

His work and expertise in creating environmentally-friendly and aesthetically stunning designs have received critical acclaim from publications like Builder and Metropolis magazine. In 2018, he won the AIA's Sarah Booth Conroy Prize.
