Highlights
After 12+ amazing years at my literal dream job, I've decided to move on from Strava. It's been an epic run, pun intended.
I'm so proud of the work that we've accomplished in that time frame. I joined Strava when it was a small startup with a cult-like following among cyclists. We had just launched our run app (there were two at one point!) and well, the rest is history. Today, Strava is the largest community of athletes in the world.
I owe so much gratitude to Mark Gainey and Michael Horvath for their vision, their compassion and their leadership. We got to connect the world through movement and become friends in the process. To the many, many brilliant and passionate leaders I've gotten to learn from - Ian Elliott, David Swain, Megha Doshi, Gareth Nettleton, Annie Vranizan and so many more, thank you for helping me grow as a professional and as a human.
As for what's next - I'm very excited to be going back into the startup scene, in what feels like my next dream job, at the end of September. (more to come later!)
In the meantime, I'm excited to watch Strava thrive under the leadership of Michael Martin, Zipporah Allen and others. This time from the sidelines.
One of my favorite pieces off the backs of Camp Strava. Not only a comprehensive summary, but getting to hang with Abigail Levene made it even sweeter!
