Larry Greenwood is a distinguished Senior Adviser at Bower Group Asia, a prominent government affairs consulting company in Washington DC, with a significant client base in the Bay Area.
Prior to his current role, Larry held the position of Senior Managing Director of Government Relations for Asia at MetLife until July 2015. Notably, he served as the US Ambassador to APEC and fulfilled diplomatic roles in Tokyo focusing on trade and investment matters. Larry culminated his service at the State Department as the Deputy Assistant Secretary overseeing international finance and development issues before his retirement in 2006.
An avid scholar, Larry pursued a Master of Arts in Law and Diplomacy with concentrations in Economics and Business at The Fletcher School at Tufts University. He also completed his Bachelor of Arts in East Asian Studies at Eckerd College.
