Highlights
I just successfully completed my 45th tax season and, as of April 30, am retiring as a RSM Tax Partner. I started in this profession as an intern in January 1980, and not many people at that time (including yours truly) would have predicted I’d spend my entire career in this business, but it’s been a great ride. I have worked with some great clients, work associates, and other professionals and we’ve done some amazing things. But my recollection of these years is similar to how we remember high school and college – we rarely talk about our specific academic courses – we only recall special moments and special people. I’m going to remember the fun this has been and some of the laughs we’ve had. I’m not going to try to thank the long list of people that have helped along the way, but if you’re reading this, you’re likely one of them…and I thank you. I’m retiring from a fantastic company and plan on spending some time relaxing and doing some of the things that have been put aside due to my schedule. But it’s entirely possible this is not a farewell but a “see you later”. I’ll stay “Linked In” so feel free to reach out at any time. Best wishes.
