His foundational knowledge was further augmented through his studies at the esteemed U.S. Navy Nuclear Power School, where he earned a certification as a Naval Nuclear Operator. This rigorous training in Nuclear Engineering laid the groundwork for a career centered around reliability, performance optimization, and preventive maintenance.
After transitioning from the Navy, Larry took on various roles at Exelon, where he excelled as a Preventive Maintenance Coordinator and a Mechanical Maintenance Procedure Writer. His time at Exelon equipped him with invaluable skills in managing maintenance procedures and writing detailed analyses to improve mechanical performance, which would later serve him well in his subsequent positions.
In his quest for continuous improvement and learning, Larry progressed to roles such as Reliability Analyst at Asset Performance Technologies, Inc., and then further advanced within Uptake as a Senior Reliability Engineer before assuming his current managerial position. In these roles, he has been instrumental in developing strategies and methodologies that have proven effective in enhancing equipment reliability through innovative technology solutions.
