Laura Atukunda is a design strategist and researcher known for her expertise in applying quantitative and qualitative research methods to drive program and policy decisions. Laura holds a Master of Public Health in Biostatistics and Epidemiology, as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Public Health, both from the University of California, Berkeley. Her academic background equips her with a strong foundation in health research and analysis.

With a diverse professional history, Laura has held roles at various esteemed organizations. She currently serves as a UX Researcher at WeHealth, where she continues to contribute her insights to improve user experiences. Previously, she worked as a Junior Design Strategist and Design Intern at Gobee Group, gaining valuable experience in design thinking and strategy.

Laura's commitment to public health and research is evident from her past roles as a Population Health Intern at the County of Santa Clara Health System and as a Research Assistant at UC Berkeley School of Public Health. Her involvement as a Health and Human Rights Course Facilitator at the University of California, Berkeley, showcases her passion for teaching and advocating for social justice.

Throughout her career, Laura has also demonstrated her dedication to global issues through roles such as Monitoring Research and Evaluation Intern at Women for Women International.
