Laura Bacon is a career educator and the founder of The 3rd, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting women of color (WOC) entrepreneurs through an innovative space aimed at fostering authenticity and productivity.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Individualized Study from New York University and a Graduate Certificate in Educational Administration and Supervision from The Johns Hopkins University.

Laura Bacon's professional experience includes roles such as Alternative Education Teacher, Team Lead, and Teacher Mentor at Howard County Public Schools, where she also served as a World Languages Resource Teacher and an Italian Teacher. She has worked as a Founder at The 3rd, Owner at Maude LLC, and in various managerial positions at different organizations such as David Nash and Associates, Second Stage Theatre, and Washington National Opera.

With a commitment to creating empowering environments for women, Laura Bacon leverages her extensive background in education and management to drive positive change and promote authenticity and productivity among women entrepreneurs.
