Laura Marks is a dedicated experiential learning advocate with a passion for transforming education to align with the future of work. Over the past decade, Laura has facilitated significant educational experiences to empower individuals in navigating their careers, leveraging strengths, and fostering growth.

Laura encourages collaboration with founders and recruiters in the edtech industry, invites non-linear career stories for the 'How Did You Choose?' Series, and enjoys discussing various topics like the future of education and work, design thinking, intercultural immersion, and career transitions.

Laura's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Language and Literature from Florida International University, a Master's Degree in International Communication from American University, study abroad experience at La Universidad del Salvador, and additional studies at McGill University.

With a diverse organizational history, Laura has held roles such as Head of Customer Experience and formerly Head of Community at Virtually, Program Manager at Mission Collaborative, Director of Employer Engagement at Parker Dewey, and Senior Program Placement Consultant at Remote Year, among others.

Laura's professional journey also includes roles as a Fulbright Fellow at the U.S. Department of State, English Teacher at Centro Cultural Peruano Norteamericano, and Program Coordinator at the Office of Study Abroad at Florida International University, where she built a solid foundation in fostering cultural exchange and educational development.
