Laura May Duggan is a seasoned healthcare professional with a strong background in critical care and emergency nursing. She currently serves as a Health Delegate with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Somalia, with prior experience in Eastern Ukraine and various roles with Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) in the UK and Ireland. Laura is also associated with RedR UK as an associate trainer.

Laura holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Nursing Studies from Queen Margaret University, a Nursing Registration/ Diploma in Nursing from University College Dublin, a Master of Public Health (MPH) with a focus on humanitarianism and water, sanitation and hygiene promotion from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, and additional graduate diplomas in Tropical Nursing, Critical Care Nursing, and Primary Health Care in resource-poor settings.

Her professional journey includes working in diverse cultural environments, responding to emergencies such as Ebola outbreaks, refugee crises, and cholera incidents. With over 13 years of experience, Laura has honed her skills in delivering critical care services and managing accident and emergency situations.
