She possesses a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Williams College and has further honed her leadership skills through the Nonprofit Executive Leadership Institute at the Evans School of Public Policy & Governance, University of Washington.

Lauren's expertise includes building and managing multi-year partnerships on local and national scales, integrating research with practical applications to develop community-focused programs, and excelling in environments that foster innovation and transformative change.

During her career, Lauren has held key positions in notable organizations such as Social Venture Partners Portland, where she served as Executive Director and Senior Vice President for Community Impact. She has also contributed significantly as the Director of Community Partnerships/Program Officer at the Thrive Foundation for Youth, and as a Program Manager at El Programa Hispano Católico.

Her professional journey includes experiences as an English Teacher at the Norteamericano Institute and involvement in implementing the Community School Model at Hall Elementary School.
