Lauren Phillips is a dedicated student at The New School's Milano School, with a background in Public and Urban Policy. She is an AmeriCorps alum and holds strong affiliations with organizations like Food Bank For New York City and The Cathedral Church of Saint John the Divine. Lauren's educational journey includes a Bachelor of Science in English/Language Arts Teacher Education from the University of South Florida, a Master's degree in Public Affairs from Sciences Po, and further studies at Leesburg High School and Sciences Po in social policy and innovation.

During her professional career, Lauren has served in various roles such as Government Relations Manager and Coordinator at Food Bank For New York City, Program Manager at The Cathedral Church of Saint John the Divine, and a valuable Americorps Volunteer at the New York City Coalition Against Hunger. She also contributed as a Reading Teacher at the School District of Hillsborough County, showcasing her commitment to education and community service.

As a passionate advocate and active voice within her community, Lauren Phillips upholds inclusivity and openly shares her personal views. She proudly uses the pronouns she/her/hers and is known to support the #LGM movement. Throughout her academic and professional endeavors, Lauren demonstrates a strong dedication to making a positive impact on society and addressing important social issues.
