Lauren Taylor is an accomplished entrepreneur, mentor, and investor in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry, with a focus on health CPG solutions and innovative materials. Based between New York and Austin, she is part of the London Alley Cohort 2024.

With a strong foundation in marketing and partnerships, Lauren began her career at Bergdorf Goodman, later transitioning to disruptive startups like The Wing and Bumble where she played an instrumental role in directing partnerships, brand development, and influencer relations across multiple markets. Her work significantly contributed to the growth and success of these companies.

Transitioning to the hospitality and media industry, Lauren joined Spring Place as the Director of Partnerships and Programming, where she excelled in bringing in capital through creative marketing strategies and fostering a global community of thought leaders and creatives. She further progressed to become the US Director of Marketing, managing digital strategies and overseeing partnerships with leading media organizations and cultural activations.

In addition to her corporate roles, Lauren is an early-stage investor in disruptive businesses like Sweetgreen, Tia, and AgTech, as well as an active LP in HealthTech funds. Her passion for social business and entrepreneurship led her to pursue a Master's degree from the London School of Economics, specializing in Social Business and Entrepreneurship.

Lauren's entrepreneurial journey continued with the acceptance of her B-Corp pitch into the London Alley accelerator, where she is developing a health CPG startup focused on non-toxic solutions and innovative materials, set to launch in Q3 2024. She is actively involved in mentoring through TechStars and LSE, and supports climate nonprofits.

Her educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Business Marketing and Sociology from Southern Methodist University, as well as additional certifications in business and summer programs from SMU Cox School of Business. Lauren's diverse experience, from luxury retail to startups and hospitality, coupled with her investment portfolio and academic achievements, makes her a versatile and influential figure in the business and entrepreneurial landscape.
