Laurence Claus is a Professor of Law at the University of San Diego School of Law. He teaches Comparative Constitutional Law, Constitutional Law, Contracts, and Animal Law.23 Professor Claus is an accomplished scholar who writes about public law and legal theory.2

In September 2024, Claus received The Class of 1975 Endowed Professorship, which recognizes meritorious teaching, leadership, and academic accomplishments.1 This professorship was established by the Class of 1975 as its 25-year reunion gift to the Law School.1
