Dr. Laurence Marsteller, MS, MD, is a highly experienced professional with over 30 years in business, healthcare, and medical device development.

Currently serving as the co-founder and CEO of Radiance Therapeutics, a clinical stage ophthalmology company dedicated to improving outcomes in glaucoma.

Previously, Dr. Marsteller co-founded Salutaris Medical Devices Inc., where he held the position of CEO and led the company to a strategic investment by Hoya Corp.

His extensive career includes roles such as Director of Medical Research & Product Development at a public medical device company and contributions to the development of brachytherapy devices as part of NIH-sponsored projects.

Dr. Marsteller is also a Board Certified physician with clinical healthcare experience and has served on the Medical Executive Committee of Ascension Health/Carondelet St. Joseph’s Hospital as Chairman of the Institutional Review Board (IRB).

Beyond his medical and healthcare roles, he began his professional journey as an Investment Banking analyst at Lehman Brothers, Morgan Stanley, and First Interstate Bank (now Wells Fargo).

Educationally, Dr. Marsteller pursued his MD and residency training at The University of Arizona, complemented by a Master of Science (MSc) in Astrophysics from Yale University, and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Physics from Georgetown University.

Dr. Marsteller's academic pursuits also include an Honours Physics Programme at the University of Kent, Canterbury, and studies in Theoretical Physics at the University of Kent, Canterbury.

He further honed his skills in technology policy and management through the graduate program at the Yale School of Management.
