Laurens Nijzink

Laurens Nijzink is a journalist and anthropologist with diverse professional experience. He currently serves as an Editor/Researcher with an MA in Human Geography at Bridging Humanities.1 Nijzink has a background in journalism, having worked for about 16 years in the field, including 2 years as a radio producer at Radio Netherlands Worldwide and subsequently as a freelance journalist.2

In his academic career, Nijzink was associated with the African Studies Centre Leiden (ASCL). He joined the ASCL in October 2004, moving from CIDIN at Radboud University, bringing with him an NWO-funded PhD project.3
