Highlights
Giving a quick update after my first month on Intro:
I’ve already had some amazing calls!
Today, I helped a founder who was trying to position his product more effectively in the real estate technology industry.
My 3 takeaways from the calls so far:
-
🔍 Identify the core customer: Helped him understand the importance of clearly defining his target customer. This is key to creating tailored strategies to address his specific needs and pain points effectively.
-
🌆 Understand the landscape: Encourage him to gain a deeper understanding of the industry landscape in which he is operating. This includes knowing his competitors, market trends, and customer preferences.
-
🏔 Recognize the challenges of selling to the customer base: I highlighted the significance of understanding the challenges associated with selling to his identified customer base. By recognizing and addressing these challenges proactively, he can increase his chances of success in targeting his core customers.

I am excited to share that I have joined the YMCA of the Foothills' Board of Directors to help build and grow the very programs that shaped my youth. This opportunity is particularly meaningful as it allows me to give back to the community and organization that played such a crucial role in my youth development, and soon my own daughter's.
I was a Y kid. Few people know that my first paying job was folding towels at the Y when I was 15 years old. Working at the gym check-in counter and participating in various youth programs, including Y-Winners Basketball and California YMCA Youth & Government, taught me invaluable life lessons and provided development opportunities that have stayed with me throughout my career. Taking the bus after football practice to wash and fold towels may seem mundane, but those experiences instilled in me a strong work ethic and a deep appreciation for community. I am excited to bring my experience and energy to this role and look forward to contributing to the growth and success of the Y.
Organizations like the Y are vital in providing equal opportunities and access to youth from all backgrounds. I am honored to work alongside Vincent Iuculano and join a phenomenal board including Greg Grande, Jeanne Hobson, James Goffredo, and Dianne Haines to continue fulfilling the Y’s mission for future generations.
s/o to my wife Chloe Pollara and daughter (future Y-Winner)
