The word is out! 🎉 We’ve just launched BC’s first e-cargo bike pilot program on the North Shore! Teaming up with District of North Vancouver and City of North Vancouver, we’re introducing new, flexible, and eco-friendly ways to get around the community—and we’re stoked to be leading this innovative project.   With support from BC Hydro and LandlordBC, this program is FREE for all North Vanners! Just book an e-cargo bike through our Evo app and pick one up at participating public libraries or select residential buildings.   We’re all about creating local mobility solutions that truly make a difference. Whether you’re hauling groceries, passengers, or just cruising, these bikes make getting around North Van easy and fun. The pilot runs until October 2024 and will restart in March 2025 through October 2025.   A huge thank you to the North Vancouver team for creating the opportunity and bringing this pilot to life: Michelle Lam, BRENDON JAMES, Elicia Elliott (ee), Mac Fitzgerald RPP, MCIP   We’d love to hear your thoughts as we keep rolling out new ways to move BC. Let’s ride!

While we may look very serious, we had a very engaging conversation about how E-Bike share can unlock funding in island communities at this year's #ATsummit.

We also talked about so much more:

  • Challenges with coordinating across regional districts and municipal governments
  • The need for formal knowledge sharing across neighbouring communities
  • The scale of funding required for active and sustainable transportation infrastructure
  • The important role of cycling advocacy groups to provide critical insight for active transportation (or any transportation) projects

Thank you sincerely to Robyn Holme, Jamie Rose and Corey Burger for participating and sharing their wisdom and experience with us.

Thank you to the BC Cycling Coalition and movmi for the inspiring 2 day event and for bringing local advocates together to share our passion for safe, active, and sustainable transportation in the province.
