Lesley McLaughlin is an accomplished professional with a diverse educational background and extensive experience in the fields of corporate sustainability, supply chain partnerships, sustainable food and agriculture, business and sustainability, product development, corporate partnerships and marketing, environmental consulting, and proposal analysis.
Lesley holds an MBA in Corporate Sustainability from the Graduate School of Business at the University of Cape Town, complemented by a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and Latin American Studies from the University of Virginia.
With a rich professional history, Lesley currently serves as the Director of Supply Chain Partnerships at Conservation International, where she plays a crucial role in fostering partnerships that drive sustainable practices within the supply chain.
Prior to her current role, Lesley held key positions at Conservation International, including Senior Manager for Sustainable Food and Agriculture Markets, and Senior Manager for the Business and Sustainability Council. Her experience in these roles has equipped her with a deep understanding of sustainable business practices and environmental conservation.
Before her tenure at Conservation International, Lesley has also worked in various capacities such as a Product Development Analyst at CEB, Consultant for Corporate Partnerships and Marketing at Friends of the National Zoo, and as a Consultant at ECIAfrica.
Lesley's professional journey also includes roles at Development Alternatives Incorporated, where she served as the Acting Opportunity Manager for Energy & Environment, Economic Growth, as an Associate Proposal Analyst, and as a Research Intern at the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute.
