Lidia Soto-Harmon is a prominent leader, serving as the Chief Executive Officer of the Girl Scout Council of the Nation's Capital, the largest council in the country.

With a background in Public Administration and International Management from George Mason University, Lidia also holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Spanish Literature from Drew University.

Her extensive educational journey includes Executive Education at Stanford Graduate School of Business and a Fellowship at the National Hispana Leadership Institute, showcasing her commitment to continuous learning and growth.

Lidia's professional experience spans various leadership roles such as Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President for Community Development at reputable organizations like First Book, the U.S. Department of State, and Fannie Mae.

At Girl Scouts Nation's Capital, Lidia oversees a substantial operation with a $16+ million budget, 112 employees, and 24,000 adult volunteers, focusing on empowering and developing girls as future leaders in the Greater Washington Region.

Her strategic vision and mission-driven approach have been instrumental in the success of the organization, which boasts a membership of 76,800 girls and adult members.

Lidia's leadership extends to managing eight Girl Scout camps and six offices across the region, including the District of Columbia and 25 counties in Maryland, Virginia, and West Virginia.
