Liliana Zaragoza is a highly accomplished professional with a strong educational background and a diverse range of experiences in the legal field.

Liliana obtained her Doctor of Law (JD) from Columbia Law School and an AB in International Studies with Honors in Human Rights from the University of Chicago, showcasing her dedication to academic excellence and a passion for human rights issues.

She has held various significant roles in prestigious organizations, including serving as Assistant Counsel at the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund, Inc.

Liliana's prior experience includes positions as a Judicial Law Clerk at the U.S. Courts of Appeals in the Third Circuit and at the U.S. District Courts in the Southern District of New York.

She has also been a John Payton Appellate and Supreme Court Advocacy Fellow at the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund, Inc., and a Skadden Fellow and Staff Attorney at the New York Legal Assistance Group.

Furthermore, Liliana has contributed her legal expertise as a Summer Law Clerk at LatinoJustice PRLDEF, Editor-in-Chief at the Columbia Law Review, and as an Intern in the Immigration Law Unit at the Legal Aid Society.

Her commitment to advocacy is evident through her past roles as a Policy Fellow, Jeff Metcalf Education Fellow, and Education Fellow at the New York Immigration Coalition.

Liliana Zaragoza's diverse experience also includes positions as a Paralegal Intern at the National Immigrant Justice Center, an Intern at the National Alliance of Latin American and Caribbean Communities, and a Research Assistant at the University of Chicago Medical Center.
