Liming Zhu is a renowned figure in the field of Software and Computational Systems, known for his leadership at Data61's trustworthiness and responsible AI, AI Safety, and various other innovative areas.

Liming Zhu has a wide-ranging expertise including Software Engineering/Architecture, DevOps, Business Process Management, Blockchain/DLT, Secure Data Platforms, Quantum Software, Privacy, and Cybersecurity of AI Systems.

Liming Zhu actively contributes to expert groups such as OECD.AI's AI Risks and Accountability and standards working groups related to AI trustworthiness. His primary interest lies in trust, trustworthiness, and responsible/ethical AI.

Apart from his industry roles, Liming Zhu serves as a Conjoint Full Professor at the University of New South Wales, where he imparts knowledge on software architecture and supervises PhD students. He holds a PhD in Software Engineering from UNSW.

Liming Zhu's research interests cover Software Architecture, Dependable Distributed Systems, Data Analytics Infrastructure, Blockchain, DevOps, Software Engineering, and Responsible/Ethical AI.

Throughout his career, Liming Zhu has held key positions in various organizations including CSIRO's Data61, Standards Australia, NICTA, and the University of Sydney. He has also been associated with prestigious institutions like the Garvan Institute of Medical Research and Fox Studios Australia.
