Linda Buchner is the Engagement Director at KCSIC (Kansas City Startup Village). She has held this position since April 2016 and worked under the guidance of founder and CEO Kari Keefe. In her role, she focuses on fostering community engagement and supporting local startups in the Kansas City area.1
In addition to her work at KCSIC, Buchner is recognized as a mentor, entrepreneur, and motivational speaker. She is also the co-founder of MINDDRIVE, a non-profit organization dedicated to serving high school students by providing them with hands-on learning experiences in technology and design.2 Her contributions to education and community development reflect a commitment to empowering youth and enhancing the local entrepreneurial ecosystem.

It's that time of year!!! Kansas City Restaurant Week (KCRW) starts Friday, January 12th thru January 21st. I plan to go out as often as possible so I'm taking date requests! :)

The 2024 Community Partner is Kanbe's Markets, a nonprofit organization dually focused on eliminating food waste while eradicating Kansas City’s food deserts. Exploiting existing gaps of the local food economy, Kanbe’s works with local farmers and partners, regional grocery stores, and national produce wholesalers to sort and distribute food—which would have otherwise ended up going unused—providing access to fresh, affordable and healthy foods in neighborhoods where it is lacking.
KCRW’s founding beneficiaries include the Visit KC Foundation and the Greater KC Restaurant Association Educational Foundation. These non-profit foundations are dedicated to workforce development within tourism and hospitality, two areas hit particularly hard by the pandemic.
