Linda Ravey is a seasoned professional who retired from the Texas A&M System after a remarkable 30-year career.

During her tenure, Linda held various roles, including program manager for Texas A&M Technology Commercialization, where she facilitated collaborations between industry, academia, and the A&M System for sponsored research and new spin-outs.

She played a key role in establishing the Technology Commercialization Center, which later merged with the Technology Licensing Office to form the current Texas A&M Technology Commercialization office.

Linda's contributions extend beyond the academic sphere, as evidenced by her involvement with the Brazos Valley Economic Development corporation and support for state and federal relations efforts.

In addition to her professional achievements, Linda is a well-educated individual, having completed the Economic Development Basic Course through the Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service in 1996.

She received several accolades for her outstanding service, including the 2014 Outstanding Employee Service Award from the Texas A&M University System and the Texas A&M University Division of Research Staff Excellence Award in 2017.

Active in various organizations and committees, Linda has demonstrated her commitment to the community through roles such as vice president and conference coordinator at Texas A&M Association of Professional Support Staff and past president of B/CS Habit for Humanity Board.

Linda's educational background includes studies at Blinn College, San Antonio College focusing on Child Development, and graduation from Roosevelt High School in San Antonio, Texas.

Her professional journey also includes roles as Business Consultant, Director Of Membership Services at Make Safe Tech, and Project Coordinator at Texas A&M Technology Commercialization.
