Lindsay Leyden is a professional with a diverse background encompassing administrative, financial, event coordination, laboratory work, and fieldwork. Currently looking to re-enter the Bio Science sector post starting a family, Lindsay aims to complete an MSc by Research focusing on Dispersal Characteristics of Scurvy-grass and Yellow Flag Iris, a study which was postponed due to maternity and family responsibilities.

Lindsay's academic foundation includes a BSc in Conservation Biology and Ecology from the University of Exeter.

Professionally, Lindsay has had a varied career, balancing roles such as child carer, chef, housekeeper, and personal assistant within her own family. Past experiences range from serving as a Co-Founder and Director at Bees Before Profit, to holding positions at esteemed organizations like University of Exeter, Zoological Society of London, and National Trust, among others.

Through roles such as Laboratory Assistant, Field Research Assistant, Research Laboratory Technician, and Demonstrator at the University of Exeter, Lindsay acquired hands-on expertise in the field of biology and research.

Lindsay's expansive career journey includes experiences beyond the academic realm, such as serving as Programme Coordinator for the Cornwall Badger Vaccination Pilot at the Zoological Society of London, Committee Secretary at Helford River Association, and UK Administration Support and Recruitment at Heart of Borneo Project, showcasing a well-rounded skill set and commitment to conservation and wildlife initiatives.

Moreover, Lindsay has demonstrated proficiency in finance and administration through roles like Transaction Support Manager at THE CFN (GB) LIMITED, Finance Support Officer at Beachcroft LLP, and Senior Credit Control and Policy Administrator at Medisure, illustrating versatility and adaptability in various professional environments.
