Highlights
So grateful for all the amazing women that came out last night. Can’t thank Christofer Peterson, Lisa Balser and Janis Middleton for leading our conversation and sharing their wisdom and humor.
We went in with questions and prompts and tossed them away halfway through because the honesty and vulnerability everyone brought into the evening created invaluable conversation. It trumped anything preplanned, besides, this was always ‘your’ event not mine. What you/the group wanted is way more valuable.
Thank you all for opening my eyes and mind. Let’s do it again. Help us do it again. Tell us, what do you want from our next gathering?
And if you missed it-no stress. Join us next time. Or the next.
Our goal is to continue to gather women from all corners of the ad world-the more perspectives the better-to support each other, discover together and just have fun. Sound good? Click the link and join us:
TL;DR I’m a bad marketer; I buried the lead. If you want it, jump to the end of the post. Or, read it all because you know how smart it is to be curious and you are curious.
Ladies of LinkedIn-you can’t pour from an empty cup and if you are on here reading this while working, while job hunting, while networking or while searching for new biz-you are probably doing a crap ton of pour.
Next Tuesday, May 21 at 6:00pm we are going to be filling cups as we gather for discussion and decompressing at Industrious in Ponce City Market. Come and say hi to that best friend from a past job you no longer work with but still miss. Or maybe meet that new best friend-either way-come as you are and connect with your fellow ATLien marketing peers.
We will begin the night with a panel lead discussion featuring Janis Middleton, Christofer Peterson, and Lisa Balser that I DARE you not to get passionate about. Each woman on this panel has been described as ‘empowering’, ‘career changing’, ‘someone I aspire to be like’, and ‘a damn fine friend’. Say yes. Come out even though we know you’re tired. You will leave feeling full.
