Lineker holds a Master of Mechanical Engineering degree with a concentration in Sustainable Energy from the esteemed Sibley School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Cornell University. During his education at Cornell, he engaged in impactful research experiences in the Bewley Applied Turbulence Lab, focusing on heat exchangers in turbulent flows, as well as in the Avedisian Thermal Science Lab, where he investigated biofuel emissions.
