Highlights
Today, I had the privilege of attending the highly exclusive Annual Institutional Circle (InCircle) Conference in Geneva. This distinguished event brings together a select group of leading institutional investors and thought leaders to delve into the most pressing geopolitical and economic issues of our time.
One of my most significant moments was the unique opportunity to discuss global geopolitics with Gordon Bajnai, a board member of the Pacific Pension & Investment Institute (PPI) and former prime minister of Hungary. Gordon's insights, drawn from his extensive experience in government and the private sector across Europe, were truly invaluable. Our dialogue spanned a wide range of topics, from the Russia-Ukraine conflict and its global implications to the evolving power dynamics between the U.S., China, and other major players.
The InCircle Conference once again proved to be an unparalleled platform for exchanging ideas and perspectives on the geopolitical forces shaping investment strategies and decision-making. I left Geneva energized by the thought-provoking conversations and grateful to connect with esteemed colleagues like InCircle Executive Board Member and CIO of Caisse de prévoyance de l’Etat de Genève Grégoire Haenni. We look forward to Greg joining us at PPI’s Summer Roundtable in Amsterdam in July.
As we navigate an increasingly complex global landscape, events like these are crucial for fostering collaboration, understanding, and innovative solutions to the challenges that lie ahead.
