She has a diverse educational background, including studies in Leadership, Women and the UN, Organizational Leadership, Executive Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Aviation Business, BA in Geography/Travel & Tourism, and Masters in Aeronautical Science with a concentration in Aviation Safety and Safety Management.

Lisa has held key positions such as Chief of the Commercial Air Travel Safety Unit at the United Nations, Aviation Safety Officer at The International Civil Aviation Organization, and former roles at various prestigious organizations including Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, ICAO, and the US Department of Homeland Security.

Her expertise in guiding and creating unique solutions to complex air travel problems, developing processes and tools for global stakeholders, and supporting critical air transport decision-making showcases her leadership capabilities in ensuring air travel safety worldwide.

Lead roles in overseeing cross-functional teams of professionals, UN Air Travel Focal Points, and senior security professionals, attest to Lisa's proficiency as an organizational leader and team coach, enabling smooth operations for over 54 entities within the global UN System.

Under her guidance, the Commercial Air Travel Safety Unit (CATSU) was established to provide essential information and guidance on global air operator suitability, enabling UN staff to focus on their humanitarian, development, and peacekeeping missions with confidence and safety.
