There is never enough funding for the arts.
Never.
But right now the Worcester Arts Council has more funding than ever before.
We were recently awarded $250,000 for sub-granting from the National Endowment for the Arts. The City of Worcester has also allocated $250,000 to WAC in ARPA funding.
That’s another half a million dollars we now have to support Worcester’s creative community, on top of the annual funding we receive from Mass Cultural Council!
And we need some help.
That’s why we’re hiring a Grant Administration Consultant.
We're looking for an individual or firm to help create and administer a new sub-granting program… and to get those dollars into the hands of local creatives as soon as possible.
This is a project-based position, not a full-time regular position.
The hours and schedule are flexible.
It’s remote (but you have to based in MA).
It pays $9,000.
