Livia Dubon is an independent curator and researcher based in London and Florence. Her curatorial practice involves artist commissions, research, and participatory practices to foster innovative ideas and interdisciplinary dialogue among creatives.

She is currently focused on the correlation between national identity, collective memory, and representation in her research. Livia is keen on exploring how contemporary artists' work aids in the decolonization of institutions and knowledge processes.

She holds a Master's degree in Art Museums and Gallery Studies from Newcastle University, a Laurea in Conservazione dei Beni culturali from Università degli Studi di Parma, and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Museology/Museum Studies from Kingston University.

Livia Dubon has a diverse professional background, serving as an Independent Art Curator presently and having worked in various roles like journalist, independent researcher, collection management assistant, production assistant, audience developer, and curatorial intern at organizations like Fratelli Alinari IDEA spa, Biennale dell'Antiquariato Firenze, Victoria and Albert Museum, Chisenhale Gallery, and more.
