Liz Abzug

Liz Abzug is a highly educated individual with a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University, furthering her studies at the Hofstra Law School and Boston University. She also attended The High School of Music & Art for her secondary education.

Professionally, Liz Abzug has an extensive background working in various organizations. She currently serves as the President of Liz Abzug Consultant Services. Previously, she held the position of Professor of Urban Studies and Kenneth Cole Community Engagement Program for Women and Leadership at Barnard College. Prior to that, she was the Vice President of Operations at New York Empire State Development Corporation and the Deputy Commissioner for Operations at NYS Division of Human Rights. Liz Abzug also founded the Bella Abzug Leadership Institute and served as its Chief Executive Officer.

Liz Abzug’s expertise spans across urban studies, community engagement, women leadership, and human rights. She is known for her contributions to academia, organizational management, and leadership development.
