Manuel López-Zambrana, also known as Nolin, is a highly accomplished individual with a rich professional background in accounting and law.

He graduated from the University of Puerto Rico with a BBA in Accounting in 1977 and later pursued a Juris Doctor (J.D.), graduating Magna Cum Laude from the University of Puerto Rico School of Law in 1987.

Nolin started his career in 1977 at Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co., where he became a Certified Public Accountant in 1978 before transitioning to the legal field.

Throughout his career, he has held various partner positions in esteemed law firms such as Fiddler, González & Rodríguez, Pietrantoni, Méndez & Alvarez LLP, and López Sánchez Pirillo LLC, which he co-founded in 2012.

Currently, Nolin serves as a tax partner at DLA Piper (Puerto Rico) LLC, representing clients across diverse industries like finance, manufacturing, insurance, and telecommunications.

His expertise extends to government affairs, having advised the Puerto Rico Department of the Treasury on tax legislation, and he has represented clients before significant entities like the United States Senate Finance Committee and the United States Treasury Department.

Additionally, Mr. López Zambrana is affiliated with prestigious organizations such as the American Bar Association, the Puerto Rico Bar Association, and the Puerto Rico State Society of Certified Public Accountants.

His extensive experience, coupled with his academic achievements and professional affiliations, solidify his standing as a prominent figure in the realms of accounting, law, and taxation.
