Highlights
Excited to share a professional update! After three amazing years with the Child Poverty Action Lab (CPAL) (the organization that will forever have a giant chunk of my heart), and more than fifteen years working across government, private and nonprofit sectors toward innovation and social impact, I have transitioned to co-lead Steady State Impact Strategies alongside my favorite partner in impact, Garrett Landry.
For those that don't know, Garrett and I met in the trenches, working together, twelve years ago. Although our careers have taken us to different battles (often, him to education and me to food security, health and basic needs), to design, lead and launch initiatives in different sectors, we've always been excited about the opportunity to bring our work back together.
Steady State has already had the good fortune of supporting sixteen clients operating in eight states to develop work ranging from pragmatic strategic plans in the Covid recovery, growing the capacity of state agencies and developing solutions and frameworks to drive organizational effectiveness.
I'm also thrilled to still be working alongside Team CPAL. I couldn't be more proud of the work accomplished from the start with my genius friend, Alan Cohen. The ongoing work at CPAL is "the work" of our day. I look forward to continuing to lead work I am passionate about - changing, disrupting and optimizing systems locally and nationally. Cheers to 2022!
