#VCUGivingDay
My Christmas gift has come early this year. Finishing my first two weeks as Senior Associate Vice President of Development for Schools and Colleges at Virginia Commonwealth University, and it feels like I have been here forever in the best possible way. I am not sure I could have imagined how “right” this move would feel so soon. VCU’s commitment to diversity, innovation, and mutual respect and understanding is evident everywhere. Not buzzwords, not items to check off of a list. There is a real authenticity that permeates the institution and the people within it. The VCU community truly is unlike any other.
Grateful to all of my new colleagues for making me feel right at home. I am so excited to begin the new year focused on UNlocking the UNlimited, UNimaginable possibilities for students, families, patients, and citizens of the Commonwealth of Virginia.
