Lori Ann Ospina is a seasoned social entrepreneur known for her expertise in policy innovation. As the founder of workFWD, LLC, she specializes in assisting organizations in creating and maintaining socially innovative programs. Prior to establishing workFWD, Ospina played a crucial role in designing and executing the Stockton Economic Empowerment Demonstration (SEED), the first city-specific guaranteed income initiative in the United States. She also oversaw research operations for a pioneering project at the University of California, Hastings College of Law that collaborated with Gap Inc. to assess the impact of more predictable scheduling practices on retail workers. Additionally, Ospina initiated the Grameen Foundation's inaugural field office in Latin America, where she spearheaded data-driven programs empowering rural farmers to thrive in the modern economy. With a Master's degree in Public Policy from the University of California, Berkeley, Ospina is dedicated to reshaping the social contract and significantly reducing poverty in the 21st century.
