She holds a Graduate Certificate in Documentary Production from the Australian Film Television and Radio School, an MFA in Photography and Related Media from Parsons School of Design - The New School, and a BFA in Politics, Philosophy, and Arts from the University of Richmond.

With her extensive experience, Louisa has held various important positions in different organizations like The Pew Charitable Trusts, where she was the Photography Lead, and Conservation International, where she served as the Senior Photo Editor and Visual Assets Manager.

Her professional journey also includes roles such as Freelance Photo Editor at The Daily Beast, Creative Production Administrator at the Australian Film Television and Radio School, and Photo Editor at Newsweek and The Daily Beast.

Louisa Barnes has also worked as the Associate Photo Editor and Producer at Entertainment Weekly, as well as in positions such as Photo Assistant, Photo Associate, and Producer at Condé Nast Portfolio. Additionally, she gained initial experience as an Intern at Vanity Fair.

Her wide-ranging experience in photography, creative production, and photo editing alongside her educational background and aspirations in documentary production showcases her dedication and expertise in the field.
