Louisa Davies is an accomplished arts, culture, and heritage leader with a rich background spanning over 20 years, focusing on roles such as producer, curator, and project manager. She possesses exceptional communication, presentation, and facilitation skills, along with expertise in business and strategic planning.

Throughout her career, Louisa has been involved in various significant projects, including serving as a Senior Producer on the Birmingham 2022 Festival, a substantial £12m cultural program coinciding with the Commonwealth Games. She led international and heritage initiatives, overseeing the Team Welcome Ceremonies.

Noteworthy experiences in her career include being a Creative Producers International Fellow at Pervasive Media Studio, Watershed from 2017 to 2020 and holding a role in public programs at the Royal Shakespeare Company from 2015 to 2018, where she produced a televised fireworks display commemorating the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare's death.

Louisa's tenure at Midlands Arts Centre spanned ten years, during which she excelled as a performing arts producer. She played a crucial role in leading artistic development and strategic planning in anticipation of the center's reopening in 2010 following a significant £15m building project renovation.

Academically, Louisa studied European Cultural Policy and Administration for her Master of Arts (MA) degree at the University of Warwick and completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Film and English at the University of East Anglia.

Her professional journey includes positions such as Head of Culture and Leisure Services and Cultural Development Manager at Gloucester City Council, Senior Producer at the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games, Head of Creative Programme at The Shakespeare Birthplace Trust, Independent Producer and Programmer as a freelancer, Events Manager at the Royal Shakespeare Company, Producer in Performing Arts at mac (Midlands Arts Centre), and Programme and Communications Officer at artSites.
