Louisa Whitlock is a highly educated professional with a strong background in environmental modeling, disasters, adaptation, and development.

With a Master of Science in Environmental Modelling from UCL, a Master of Arts in Disasters, Adaptation, and Development from King's College London, and a Bachelor of Arts in Social and Political Sciences from the University of Cambridge, Louisa has a solid academic foundation.

Louisa has a diverse professional experience, having served in various roles at the Austrian Red Cross, including DRR and Climate Change Advisor, Forecast-based financing delegate, Head of country office in Kyrgyzstan, Project manager for PrepCap, and DRR and climate change delegate.

Prior to her work at the Austrian Red Cross, Louisa worked as a Technical advisor and Consultant at the Red Cross Red Crescent Climate Centre, gaining valuable insights into climate change adaptation and disaster risk reduction.

Her passion for addressing climate change and disaster preparedness is evident through her previous roles as a Climate Change and Climate Risk Management Intern at the Asian Disaster Preparedness Center and as a Junior Researcher at the Red Cross Red Crescent Climate Centre.

Louisa Whitlock's dedication to humanitarian efforts and sustainable development is further exemplified by her experience as a Programmes Intern at FARM-Africa.
