Louise Boughen is a respected professional adviser/consultant in the international humanitarian aid sector, with a dedicated focus on supporting vulnerable children and adults in crisis situations to empower them in their own recovery and growth.

With a robust educational background, Louise attended Burgess Hill School for Girls and St Leonard's, Mayfield School for her early education. She continued her academic journey by completing a Master of Science in Applied Development Studies with Distinction from the University of Reading and obtaining a Bachelor's degree (BA Hons, 2:1) from Swansea University.

Having worked with prestigious organizations, Louise's career highlights include serving as an Adviser and Consultant at the British Red Cross, an Adviser at CAFOD, a Learning Project Manager at UNICEF within the Global WASH Cluster, and roles at Action Against Hunger UK, United Healthcare, and Axon (formerly Bywater Consulting, now HCL Technologies) as a Consultant.

She excels in supporting entities within the humanitarian aid sector to establish effective measures for prevention and response to exploitation, abuse, and harm, while ensuring quality standards and accountability to crisis-affected communities and individuals.
