Louise Maureen Khabure is a highly experienced Kenyan consultant with a Master's Degree in Philosophy from Strathmore University and research fellowships in Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution from King's College London.

With over twenty years of experience in political economy, conflict, and security analysis, Louise has worked across the globe, particularly in Africa, in various positions from local to regional levels.

She is known for providing evidence-based research and analysis to inform strategies and policies that focus on conflict reduction, peacebuilding, security, and political inclusivity, working with a diverse range of organizations including think tanks, governmental and non-governmental institutions, and the private sector.

Her expertise has led her to work on influential platforms such as the UN Security Council, The State Department-Washington, and the European Union, contributing to mediation and peace processes in countries like Uganda, Rwanda, Kenya, Somalia/Somaliland, Sudan, and South Sudan.

With a rigorous approach to her work and a broad network of contacts, Louise aims to make a positive impact on global, regional, national, and local levels, promoting peace, reconciliation, and empowerment of women and youth.

She has been published in academic journals, is multilingual, and has held various significant roles in organizations like Carbon Humanitaire, Politicos Africa, NIMD (Netherlands Institute for Multiparty Democracy), UNDP Somalia, Mercy Corps, DAI, BBC Media Action, and many more.
