Luana Marques is a clinical psychologist with an extensive background in researching and treating anxiety disorders within ethnic minority populations.

As the Director of Community Psychiatry Program for Research in Implementation and Dissemination of Evidence-Based Treatments (PRIDE), Luana collaborates with colleagues and conducts research on various disorders such as PTSD, social anxiety, OCD, panic disorder, complicated grief, and body dysmorphic disorder.

Her expertise lies in cognitive-behavioral interventions for anxiety disorders and the psychology of ethnic minorities. She has delivered lectures, supervised interns, and presented at national and international conferences.

Luana Marques holds a Ph.D. and a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from the State University of New York at Buffalo.

In addition to her research and teaching roles, she maintains an active clinical practice focusing on targeted CBT, Prolonged Exposure Therapy, and Complicated Grief Therapy for individuals with anxiety and traumatic stress disorders.
