Highlights
This past week was Dreamforce and also marked 9 incredible years at Salesforce. Although I’ve been fortunate to be part of Dreamforce many times, this was the first time I was on stage speaking in my own session, alongside my amazing co-presenter Amy Lin. We spoke at 2 different sessions about the “6 Guiding Principles of CRM Adoption” and it was a terrifyingly rewarding experience, to put it in one sentence. As I was walking throughout Dreamforce the rest of the week, I was stopped several times by various customers who had attended the session! Truly fun to be able to reach so many people and make an impact at their Dreamforce experience, if even in a small way. Here’s to doing more scary things in the future!
It's been awhile since I've invested in myself, between the pregnancy and birth of my twins, raising now 1 year old toddlers, being back at work full time, and the hustle of everyday life. I've been looking for a topic that would inspire me, drive me, and ultimately challenge me. Last week, I started my second night course at UC Berkeley extension - Managing Sustainable Change in an Organization with the ultimate goal of completing my certification in the Advanced Program in Sustainable Management. Last fall, I took a leap and completed the Principles of Sustainability course which further peaked my interest in becoming an expert in this space.
I am not perfect, we are not perfect. We can't do everything to help with climate change, but we can do something. Let's get it!
