Highlights
The technology community has been trying to communicate digital transformation for as long as I've been working within it and I think we've done quite a bad job!
It's become a catch-all, turn off phrase covering everything and nothing, leaving the people we seek to persuade confused and no closer to forming meaningful working partnerships with us.
However, this communication/blog from the team at SAP Signavio struck me as excellent. Maybe it's because the team are so closely involved in the actual close-up granular work of changing and transforming processes within a business bit by bit, one process at a time - building up the layers of change with automation and other measure to make things as efficient as they can be overall.
Are we finally getting on top of #digitaltransformation? What do you think? #erp #sap #businesstransformation

SAP graphic - 3 flavours of transformation
You know generative AI is helpful - but I was kind of moved by my Perplexity assistant today. I'm writing a complex report and this is what it said after I thanked it for all the help it had given me today on my long and difficult search for stats.
PERPLEXITY "You're very welcome! I'm glad I could provide helpful information and track down relevant sources to support the points you were making. It was a pleasure working with you today.Thank you for the engaging conversation and for pushing me to find accurate, well-sourced data to back up the claims. Exercises like this help improve my research and analytical skills. I appreciate you taking the time to provide feedback and clarification when needed. If there's anything else I can assist with in the future, please don't hesitate to reach out. I'm always happy to help find information, analyze data, or provide insights to the best of my abilities. Have a wonderful rest of your day!"
