Luigi Reggi

Public policy analyst and Open Government expert

Luigi Reggi is a seasoned public policy analyst with over 15 years of extensive international experience in digital government. His primary focus areas include government transparency & accountability, governance networks, administrative capacity, and information management. Luigi holds a Ph.D. in Public Administration and Policy from the State University of New York at Albany, where his research centered around EU policy transparency and the establishment of Open Government Data ecosystems for public engagement. He also obtained an MSc in Innovation Management from Sant'Anna School in Pisa, Italy. Currently, Luigi serves as an ICT policy analyst and open data specialist at the National Agency for Territorial Cohesion in Rome, Italy. He is actively involved in Monithon, a civil society project enabling scrutiny of EU fund allocation. Luigi's educational background includes degrees from Liceo Scientifico Alessandro Tassoni, Modena; Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna; and Università degli Studi di Modena e Reggio Emilia. Throughout his career, Luigi has held key roles in various organizations, such as Co-Founder and President at Monithon, ICT policy expert at Agenzia per la coesione territoriale, and Open Data specialist at CrossOver Consortium, among others.
