My first #401gives plug: As someone who grew up on the Southside of Providence, and now as a member of the Board of Directors for SCLT, I've seen firsthand the difference that access to local, healthy, and affordable food can make (and how rare it used to be!). I give my time and attention to SCLT because we spend time on solutions that make a difference for the people and communities who most need it. Fresh and healthy food preserves not only good health, but also human culture.
