Highlights
The end of 2023 also marked the end of my 4+ years at Pipe and time to say thank you to everyone that was a part of it. 🙏
It’s a bittersweet moment - the company is on a great trajectory under the new leadership team, and I’m leaving behind an incredible team - along with brilliant peers and partners. Being part of the entire ride from the “just an idea” phase and serving as Pipe’s first CFO have been the greatest honors and most fun parts of my career.
But now it’s time for me to refocus my energy and skills on the German start-up ecosystem and tech industry.
For years, people close to me have heard me complain about the lack of entrepreneurial spirit & skepticism towards technology’s positive impact on this side of the Atlantic - time to stop complaining and to do something about it!
To that end, I already have something super exciting in the works and will share more publicly as soon as I can.
Let’s build. 🚀
PS: In the meantime, I am trying to write more and share some of it - for a fitting start I’ve tried to summarize my thoughts on leaving well. Let me know if you agree!
