Highlights
Excellent to catch up with so many contacts at UKREiiF.
On day 1 we started with a fascinating session from Tony O'Brien about the future growth plans for Travelodge Hotels Limited. We then had our “Living’s Next Top Model” panel session, superbly hosted by our own Catherine Williams.
Day 2 started with a breakfast session on Building and Fire Safety - an area where we have market leading expertise, including from our speakers Joe Wilkinson, Frances Richardson and Adrian Mansbridge. While we have further events to come, the day ended for me with our very well attended “Pizza and Property” event organised by Hayley Argyle and our new head of Leeds office Lucy Sturrock.
Shame about the pouring rain today (in which I was absolutely soaked!). However, given that the high rate of inflation and uncertainty of waiting for an election have both been repeatedly blamed for a reduction in market activity, today certainly had some welcome news to brighten the mood!
