Luke Cassereau is a highly accomplished bioengineer with a strong academic background and extensive research experience in tumor progression and invasion.

He completed his Bachelor's of Science in Bioengineering from UC Berkeley and went on to earn his PhD from the UC Berkeley-UCSF joint graduate group in Bioengineering, specializing in studying the mechanical microenvironment's role in tumor development.

During his PhD research, Luke developed and utilized various in vitro platforms along with animal models and human tissue samples to investigate tumor cell invasion, migration, growth, metabolism, and metastasis, focusing on interactions with stromal cell populations such as immune cells.

His professional experience includes roles as a Principal Scientist at ArsenalBio, Lyell Immunopharma, Senior Associate at Emerson Collective, Senior Scientist at SQZ Biotechnologies, and Scientist at Xcell Biosciences.
