Highlights
Last week, on May 9th, we gathered to commemorate greatness at the 26th Anniversary of the LATINA Style 50 Awards and Diversity Leaders Conference. While Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) initiatives face challenges in many colleges, universities, and around our country, it's heartening to observe the deliberate efforts of corporate America to attract, retain, and empower the talented contributions Latinos bring to the workplace, particularly Latinas. It's widely recognized that DE&I practices are integral to sound business strategies. With Latino purchasing power in the billions, the business rationale is clear. Latina Executives and Employee Resource Groups deserve significant acknowledgment for their enlightening impact, and we proudly recognize their tireless efforts and steadfast contributions! LATINA Style Magazine is also marking a significant milestone, its 30th year of showcasing the stories of courage, resilience, and success that epitomize Latina professionals and Latina entrepreneurs. And it is all thanks to a visionary Latina, Ana Maria Arias, the magazine's founder. She would undoubtedly take pride in seeing the continuation of her legacy and the realization of her vision through the numerous impactful programs LATINA Style now offers. This achievement owes much to her foresight and the unwavering dedication of Robert E. Bard, who ensured the dream endured. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the remarkable LATINA Style staff and our cherished friends and supporters for enabling us to celebrate yet another year of Latina courage, resilience, talent, dedication, commitment, and passion… Cheers to another year of LATINA Greatness!
