Her educational endeavors also include coursework in Leadership, Management, and Medicine at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, showcasing her commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Throughout her career, Lydia has held various significant roles at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, including serving as the Director of the Visualization Core Lab in Radiology. She has also been an integral part of the academic faculty, previously holding positions such as Associate Professor, Certified Medical Illustrator, Director of Operations, Assistant Professor, Instructor, and Research Associate.

In addition to her contributions within the academic sphere, Lydia Gregg has been actively involved in the Association of Medical Illustrators, where she has served in leadership positions such as Chair Ex Officio, Chair, and Vice Chair of the Board of Governors.
